Released under two different titles, this film centres around two young men with disabilities that confine both to wheelchairs. But that isn’t the story, as it could so easily (lazily) have been. There is no victim here; that isn’t the point. This is a film predominantly about relationships – between friends, family, hired help and potential love interests – and it works well in its simplicity because the characters are rich with personality from the outset. Rory O’Shea and his new partner in crime Michael Connolly make an unlikely comedy double act. And it just works. An absolute must watch.
